Open Door Scholars Inc. (“Open Door Scholars,” “we,” “us”) is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. This policy explains what information we collect through opendoorscholars.org, how we use it and the choices you have.

When you fill out our Get Started form, we ask for your name, email, phone number, the best way and time to reach you, your county, your preferred format, what you are looking for and, if you choose, your highest level of school completed and how you heard about us. When you use our contact form, we ask for your name, email and message. We do not ask about criminal history, incarceration or supervision.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server keeps basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not place tracking pixels on our pages. The site may set a small number of cookies that are needed for security and for the site to work properly.
How we use your information
Information you share through our intake and contact forms is used only to provide our services: to reply to you, to understand your goals and to connect you with the support you asked for. We never sell your information, and we never share it for marketing.
